Summary
He refused to let his hands tremble when he removed his mask. The world shone brighter without it, and he blinked down at the ground.
“Skywalker,” he said, slowly meeting Obi-Wan's gaze. “Anakin Skywalker.”
Obi-Wan looked as if he'd seen a ghost. His complexion whitened, eyes blinking owlishly a few times. “Anakin?” he asked, as if he couldn’t believe it was him.
His name, spoken in his former Master's sharp accent, sounded like a symphony.

OR: After a year of Padawanship under Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Council decides that Anakin is too volatile. They reassign him to be re-evaluated for another role within the Order. Anakin believes that Obi-Wan agreed with this decision: he harbors his feelings of betrayal and hurt as the years go by. He eventually becomes a Temple Guard, believing he has now found his spot in life.
But then the Temple Guards are appointed to the Attack Battalions when the Clone Wars break out, and Anakin is forced to face his old Master again when he gets assigned to the 212th.

The world seemed to swirl underneath his feet.
“Anakin, are you coming?” It was Obi-Wan asking the question, but Anakin hardly recognized his sharp Coruscanti accent.
“Yes,” he croaked, clearing his throat. He couldn’t afford to be weak right now. Especially not in front of Obi-Wan. “Be right behind you.”
A moment of silence. Thin hesitation. But then he heard Obi-Wan’s footsteps grow quiet, and Anakin crumpled.

OR: After the Rako Hardeen debacle, Anakin Skywalker refuses to speak to his former Master. This becomes a problem when he starts having seizures: he refuses to tell either Obi-Wan or Ahsoka. When he eventually collapses on a mission, however, his secret is revealed.

He swallowed down the twist in his chest, the ache of all the memories this place held, now fractured and crumbling around them. Not only did the shifting shadows and alien hum of the alarms quicken Anakin's pulse, but the weight of everything that just occurred seemed to magnify that anxiety tenfold.
The whiplash of believing he’d been betrayed, then realizing he hadn't, only to doubt again, and then find true deception where he least expected it, left his mind spinning.
The lines between friend and foe blurred, tangled in a web that Anakin had been almost certain he could never fully unravel.
Now, as he fell into step with Kenobi, he wondered how he could have been so blind.

Summary
Tim's family can be overbearing at times, what with their impromptu visits and family dinners and surprise missions. Normally, it's not too much of an issue, but things with Conner are starting to heat up, and they keep getting interrupted right when things get good. Tim's starting to think he and his boyfriend will never get to have sex, but he's determined not to give up.
Or, in other words: five times Tim and Kon get interrupted by Tim's family during sex (plus one time they don't).

“Okay.” Clark shut his eyes, seeming to count to five, before they snapped open. “Kon, do you understand what's happening to you?”
He approached Kon’s bed but did not sit down. Kon let out a whine that perfectly conveyed his distress.
“Of course not. I should have explained things sooner.” Clark pinched his nose and then forced himself to breathe and relax.
“I know you're scared but what you're going through is a perfectly normal part of Kryptonian puberty.”
Puberty. Puberty. Puberty?!
“Puberty?!” That knocked the words right out of him and Clark chuckled.-
Or - Kon hits puberty! It's a little embarrassing and scary. Especially since Kon is apparently something called an 'omega'?!
