Summary
Will Byers is struggling to hold everything together. Between his parents’ mental health decline, his brother’s increasing drug use, and the death of his sister which drove a stake through his friend group, he can’t help but collapse under the pressure of it all. The mundanity of high school is all that keeps him sane, but it’s his junior year, and he knows it’s not long before the last of what’s normal is left behind. It isn’t until he happens to meet Grant Russell during a late night drive that he realizes there’s more to life than grief and responsibility.
