"Look at me," The Magician waited for Virtus to obey his command, "If you choose this, I will punish you for it."
Hot and cold chased each other through Virtus' body and he tried to keep watching the Magician. His vision was dark at its edges.
"Champion, darling," The Magician's gloved fingers brushed the underside of Virtus' chin and he shivered, "Do you want me to punish you?"
To both their shock, after a moment of held breath, Virtus whispered, "Please."
