During interviews, pro hero Dynamight always keeps a hand on Izuku's waist and nuzzles against the back of his neck every now and then, breathing in his scent, especially when one of the reporters is pissing him off.
Izuku's students (he still works at the UA) are usually pointing out that he doesn't smell like himself anymore because Dynamight's scent has mixed with his.
Which has led them to believe they're dating.

“B-but you weren’t. I- You were— You died.”
The harsh sobs continue, and the potentials of what could have been are still too strong for Izuku to fight off.
“And it's all my fault.”
That declaration stuns Katsuki; he jerks back, pulling away his touch as his eyes bulge with confusion. At his sudden withdrawal, Izuku crumples into his lap.
“No, please,” a mess of wildly curly hair buries into his abdomen, and hands falling to grip at his pant legs, “I’m sorry. I'm so sorry, Kacchan.”
Katsuki compels his brain to reboot, needing to understand and rectify where that thought process came from.
“Wh—”
But Izuku is already spiraling.
Whereas he had been fighting tooth and nail to get the dumb dork to talk ten minutes ago, now words are just fumbling out. This is the unstable coherence he had been hiding, choosing to instead shield behind a state of dissociation to avoid the overwhelming emotions.
“It's my fault he targeted you. He set out to specifically kill you because he knew what it would do to me. He knew that you were one of my only weaknesses. And I wasn't— I wasn't there because I— I was too late. I couldn't save you. Because I was too fucking late.”

Summary
The first thing he sees is blood. Blood everywhere. A pool of the thick red liquid is forming on the ground beneath Izuku's head as he clutches onto his face. He's letting out strangled cries, gasping and shaking on the floor.
"IZUKU- Izuku, what's wrong?! Look at me! Izuku, look at me, dammit!"
Katsuki is yelling, pleading at Izuku to respond and tell him what's wrong, why he's bleeding. His hands are now trembling as he grabs Izuku's hands glued to his face and tries as gently as possible to lower them.
Or: Deku, AKA Mr-Self-Sacrificial, always throws his life on the line for anybody. He's fighting a dangerous villain with Katsuki and Kirishima when he sees the villain attempt to use his quirk on Katsuki and intercepts it with his own body. They deal with the consequences.
