Kuroko is strong and growing up is hard, but it is too much to ask a child, a mere child, to overcome the weight of weakness, strength, and the unreasonable expectations thrown upon him and his friends that causes them to fracture so completely that they can no longer function as any simple teenager should. Basketball was, has been, and may always be their lifeblood, but Kuroko can't handle watching their decent into madness any longer. He leaves.
