Summary
Suddenly, everything made sense - in a way, at least. The restlessness he felt since this morning, the small increase in his temperature and the aching of his body. All of those were signs for the one annual event he dreaded the most, the one event every living omega went through, whether they wanted to or not. Alphas had something similar, which was equally stressful and annoying. Nature really fucked that one up in Yoichi's humble opinion.
With the curse still vibrating on his lips, the world-class striker made a beeline for his kitchen on shaky legs, where his gaze instantly landed on his calendar. He already knew what was happening to him and why this whole shitshow was even more fucked up than usual, but he wanted to check and make sure it wasn't his miss. Sure enough, his blue eyes landed on the end of November, the timeframe he had encircled with a thick, red line because that was roughly the time when he was due for his next shitty heat.
And yet, he was suffering the symptoms now at the end of summer already, because yes, Yoichi had entered the pre-heat stage and was rapidly moving towards the actual heat.
