Summary
When Arthur decides that he should humor his Council and at least make an effort in finding a bride, he enlists the help of Morgana. Her solution? A list of questions about Arthur's favorite things: if one of his possible matches could answer them, well, that would mean he had a chance at happiness with them, right?
At first, Arthur thinks it's a ridiculous idea.
Then he discovers that Merlin, who has no idea what the questions are for, somehow knows all the answers

Summary
In which Amara doesn't bring back Mary, she brings back John Winchester.
Dean is uncertain what Amara's meaning is when she brings John back, and struggles with coming to terms with the new family dynamic. Sam tries harder to keep the peace than he used to, and Cas does not get along with John at all- though he tries. “You’re like,” Merlin tries to explain it, if only so Arthur stops looking at him with that strange, unsure look, “a toothache.”
The new look on Arthur’s face is not a better one.
“A toothache?” he says, dead calm, “Are you serious? Are you honestly saying that you think being married to me would be like having a toothache? Merlin!”
“I’m going to bed,” Merlin says, bailing out now and ignoring all protesting sputtering, because this conversation is clearly a problem for future Merlin. He will soothe Arthur and make sure that he knows anyone would be lucky to be married to him, but in a really annoying way. Merlin will figure it out. Future Merlin, that is.
Not this one.
This one is already drooling onto his luxurious down pillow, blissfully unaware of what he has wrought.

Summary
With a gasp, Arthur wakes.
He wakes to the warmth of the blankets around him, the sight of the stars above and Merlin’s hand grasping his. He wakes surrounded; by softness, by love, by light. Gasping in breaths, he wakes holding tightly onto Merlin’s hand, tethering himself to the word through that strong, sure grip.
He wakes and he’s not alone and everything's better.
He settles back down, his breath not quite steady yet, but getting there. He holds on tight to Merlin’s hand, looks up at the stars and lets himself drift back off to sleep, safe in the knowledge that he’s free.

Merlin and Arthur are held captive together for a month in the dark.
Back in Camelot now, the two face all they went through with the help of one another, their friends, and the night sky.

His bed, the warmest place in his little room, clear of the chill stone of the keep, has been completely taken over. Bits of milk are fed to the puppy with a clean rag, taking ages to get even a sip in the fussy thing. “You really are just like Arthur, you know,” he says to the dog. “You need such an awful lot of attention.”
