Fleeing from the home of the now-former High Richter, hearts racing when the Mighty Nein come across the scene before them. They see the drow, allow him to go free- only to find they freed him into a brutal execution minutes later, everything falling apart around them.
Leaving the sewers they try to blend in, to devise a plan. Caleb reaches for his components, 'disguise self' on the tip of his fingers when his world comes to an icy halt, heat extinguishes and he goes blank at a familiar voice, one that haunted him still-

“We brought something for dessert, see? It’s donuuuts and muffins and cookies aaand…yeah. Caduceus and I baked them ourselves and I’m sure you’ll love them. They’re very tasty and very pretty, too. Look!” And indeed, they are. At least, they are when Jester’s standards are applied. The heaps of baked goods are covered in frosting drawn into shapes of googly-eyed Captain Tusktooths, hamster-unicorns, dodecahedrons, Frumpkins and - of course - dicks. Ikithon’s left eyebrow twitches and Caleb would swear he can see a vein on his temple pulsating.

The Mighty Nein accept a certain dinner invitation. It’s been some time, after all, since they’ve had an opportunity to have a real family dinner.

Aka while it would be incredibly hilarious for the M9 to just go “sorry, we have something more important to do, like, idk watering Cad’s plants or smth”, the thought would not leave me alone that it might be just as hilarious for them to attend Trent’s dinner and just crash it in true Mighty Nein style which conveniently doubles as a loud and clear statement for Trent, Astrid and Eodwulf about who exactly Caleb’s true family is.Bookmarked by MechanicalBarracuda

Peter Parker was already having a terrible, very bad, no good time. Between his stakeout gone wrong, getting stabbed, and getting waterboarded, he would have preferred to hit rewind and not go out on patrol today at all.
Somehow, the day gets worse. How? The Punisher walks through the door.
Or; Frank Castle just wanted to take out some traffickers. He didn’t intend on meeting Spider-Man, finding out that Spider-Man was a kid, or having to save Spider-Man’s life.

Summary
Three weeks after Foggy wrote "Nelson, Murdock, and Page" on a new napkin, Matt, Karen, and Foggy are starting the new firm in the upstairs of Nelson's Meats. That means Matt can't put off moving back into his apartment any longer—an apartment that he may or may not have told Karen and Foggy he moved back into weeks ago.
It turns out, trying to sort out your affairs and come back to your old life after having a building fall on top of you, spending months recovering in a church basement, and being homeless isn't that easy. It's a little harder still when you're mentally unwell, sleep deprived, and blind.
Also... maybe Matt should have taken the whole hallucination thing more seriously.
