Summary
Moon understands romance.
He's been studying the stories, the ones with love and romance and true loves kiss, both from his theatre days and bed time stories alike. There weren't many within the daycare, simply hints within other, grander stories of knights and dragons and triumph over evil. The children under their care were not often old enough to think of romances as anything other than yucky. But not Moon. These days, he finds himself more and more invested, devoting much of his free time to reading and rereading every scrap he could find. He memorizes and compares patterns, gathering as much data as possible.
He's come to several conclusions, none of which are particularly helpful to his situation.

I love how diverse the different characters are and how the children actually have personalities (Tobey and Rosie have my heart c: ) and are important to the story. I also adore how autism is presented in this fanfic. I am not afraid to admit that I cried a few times (especially at Sasha's chapters). All in all, a fanfic I always love to return to :)

“I’d jump with you,” Chuuya says, “I’d hold you the whole way down.”
“Wouldn’t work.” Dazai reminds him idly, watching the shadow and light play on Chuuya’s ceiling.

This is singlehandedly one of the best works I've ever read. The pacing (I love melting this iceberg with a matchstick ;)), the characters and their different personalities, how they interact with each other and how Qwille wrote different POVs (Fools is so unique, I love how it looks like a theater script) and, of course, the lore and worldbuilding itself. GITM has something for everyone and I personally think that everyone in the DCA fandom should read this. I cannot help but love it and what I really want to say is: thank you Qwille, for pouring your time and heart into this masterpiece :)

Summary
You weren't a technician, you weren't a security guard, you weren't a daycare assistant. You're just an employee. Staff. The ‘jack-of-all-trades’ employee with mediocre at best skills and specialty in none, tasked with doing miscellaneous jobs that robots couldn't do and human staff couldn't care to. The job is unpredictable, but it pays good and it's relatively easy.
Except for the part where all the animatronics are more sentient than you thought, and you're roped into a mystery surrounding the Daycare Attendants, who are bit too curious about you for your liking.

This was my first DCA fanfic ever and an amazing introduction into the fandom. I adore how BamSara characterised both Sun and Moon and the readers relationship with all the animatronics. Solar lunacy is definitely a work to re-read again and again and not get bored :D

Midoriya isn’t very impressed by this threat, and as everybody in the restaurant scrambles down to the dirty tile floor in a hazy panic, he stares straight into the masked man’s eyes with a resignation that comes with being in customer service for far too long.
“Sir,” he says, an all too wide and all too fake smile plastered tightly on his face. The masked robber gulps, the gun in his hands shaking ever so slightly. “This is a McDonald’s. Why the fuck are you robbing a McDonald’s.”
The masked robber suddenly looks very unsure. Good for him, Midoriya thinks. He hopes the guy is sorting out his options properly right now. But, well, he has a job to do, so his smile widens almost painfully so.
“So,” he says cheerfully, “will it be dine-in or to-go?”
( Or: All Midoriya Izuku wants is cash. Money. The green paper. The moola. The fat paychecks. Really, anything to help his mother.
What he doesn’t want is a bunch of small-time (maybe big time) villains getting in the way of this. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get a say in this, and- ah shit, why are heroes here too? )

“Ew,” Dazai says, like Chuuya has asked him to do something reprehensible like believe in love or that he is worthy of forgiveness or the concept of tenderness without bite.
“Just—” Chuuya hisses as Dazai wriggles purposefully, the look on his face he gets when he knows he’s annoyed Chuuya nearly to breaking and wants to see him break, “fucking be good for me for five seconds. Be good.” Chuuya grips Dazai’s jaw hard as speaks, hard enough to bruise. He uses the voice he uses when he’s working, when people need to listen and they need to do it now.
He’s surprised when Dazai goes still underneath him.
Chuuya looks down at Dazai who is blinking up at him slowly, seemingly dazed. His fingers twitch where he had been idly playing with the hem of Chuuya’s shirt. Chuuya tilts his head and waits for Dazai to say something and Dazai says nothing at all.
Chuuya is fascinated.
“Dazai?” He whispers.

Dazai cocks his head, and Chuuya can tell he’s really trying hard to maintain the bored look on his face. Chuuya’s known Dazai long enough to recognize when he’s curious.
“Am I being held hostage by the mafia right now? Is that what’s happening?”
In which Dazai succeeds in the death he’s always longed for, and Chuuya and Atsushi will do whatever it takes to save the man who saved them before they even realized they were being saved. However many times it takes.
A study in loving someone who refuses to be loved.
