His gaze flicked to Steve, who was currently pressed up against him in every way imaginable, arms around his waist, head tucked into the crook of his neck, legs tangled with his own. He could even feel the occasional flutter of his eyelashes.
Tony snorted. “Oh yeah, what could there possibly be to talk about?”

Summary
Stiles never got to see Peter asleep. Even when they shared the same bed, Peter always fell asleep after Stiles did, and woke up before him. Sometimes it bothered him, but he hadn't questioned him about it. He figured it was something personal, something deep ingrained into Peter like survival instinct - Peter didn't like to be vulnerable.
Of course, he was completely wrong. The explanation was actually much simpler and much, much sweeter.

“Yeah, it's good to be home,” He hobbled to the bed with one of his crutches and cleared a space of make-up assignments so he had a place to sit. “How’s tricks?”
“’Tricks’ are fine,” Lydia rolled her eyes, “Things are quieting down…I didn’t know you knew origami?” A paper fox sat in her palm, folded neatly out of generic, college-ruled notebook paper. Part of an equation ran down one leg and crossed the folds of a sharp, triangular ear.
He didn't remember making it.
__Stiles has been rescued, but tensions between the pack and Peter are running understandably high, and they still don’t know what kind of fey creature Valack pulled out of his spark.
Fine, whatever, but there’s been a series of strange murders, break-ins, and vandalism around the city, and Stiles is supposed to be getting back to normal. Returning to school, healing, (or not healing, whatever). The last thing he wants to worry about is Peter’s stupid missing money and whoever, or whatever, keeps cleaning his room when he’s gone.

Castiel's wife and unborn child were taken from him too soon in a tragic accident. In his wife's memory he opened up an LGBT+ friendly bar/restaurant and does his best to offer comfort for those who can't find it elsewhere. He doesn't think about his troubled past too often, choosing to instead focus on the present and enjoy what's happening in the here and now.
When their paths cross, things seem simple enough: Dean needs a job, and Castiel can offer him one. But when things take a turn and leave them both open and vulnerable, their tenuous friendship takes root and starts to grow with the beauty of a flower in the sun. Their friendship is liberating as they heal old wounds together, but is there a chance that something more is growing between them? A coming of age story, for the old and the young.
