“Yeah.” Thalia muttered, retracting her shield. “Thanks.” She brushed off her pants. “So, who’s your godly parent?”
Nico grimaced. Time for some creative obfuscation. “Um, I don’t know.” He shook his head. “My father left when I was really little. Mother would never talk about him. I don’t…” He paused, looked away. “I don’t remember much of my childhood…”
“You’re a runaway, then.” Luke said.
He’s not wrong. It just wasn’t his family he was running away from.
It was his past.-
Basically, I wanted a BAMF Nico di Angelo time travel with actual real meaningful changes to the timeline and major ripple effects! Self-indulgent for sure, since I want to redeem all my favourite characters! What if Nico went back in time to the lotus casino, and snuck out just a bit earlier?

Summary
Even after more than a year of living with his Father, Damian still felt ‘out of the loop’ a lot. Sometimes, he was purposely excluded due to his age, but more often, he was simply missing context that everyone else assumed he had.
It was irritating at best.
Therefore, when Damian had information that clearly no one else was privy too… well, sometimes ‘being in the know’ was a nice change of pace.
