Summary
Gale’s friends are worried about him. Ever since the end of a toxic relationship, he’s been reclusive, hiding away at home. His old friend Wyll drags him out to a club, promising a great DJ and a good time.
Astarion is the lead vocalist of a popular local rock band. But he’s bored out of his mind lately. The glitz and glamor are great and all, but it’s all just so easy, there’s no thrill to it. Until he spots his bestie Karlach hanging out with someone who definitely does not belong here.

Summary
Astarion's a slightly nomadic ethics professor taking up his new post at the storied Blackstaff Academy in Waterdeep. While exploring everything the city has to offer, he tests out a much-lauded dive bar glory hole and has the time of his life. It's impossible to get that sweet, soft voice and that skilled tongue out of his head, but the anonymous person on the other side wishes to remain unknown.
Oh well.
Maybe Astarion's burgeoning crush on his distinguished, older colleague, Professor Dekarios, will keep his mind from wandering towards the unattainable.

Summary
Being forced to sit while Gale spits therapy lingo at him doesn’t compel him to open up anymore than Halsin’s sad eyes or Raphael’s stony silences did—rather, he feels like screaming, breaking the first thing he can get his hands on: perhaps that shiny Therapist of the Year award that keeps hitting the light coming through the office window as if it’s begging for attention.
Whatever Dr. Gale Dekarios might think, there’s nothing to say.
But later... he watches with unease as Halsin begins to unfold the previously crumpled up paper he left on the floor of Halsin's truck all those weeks ago, fingers still decorated with pinpricks of blood leftover from removing splintered glass from his skin. Halsin offers him the paper: a cartoon sun with sunglasses smiles up at him, Comic Sans makes up the entire document—it is as if he’s being mocked by Gale, even outside of the office.
No words are exchanged. The meaning behind the paper isn’t hard to understand.
It is a monumental effort to snatch it from Halsin’s hands, to reply:
“Fine. Fine.”
No one ever said healing wasn't a messy, chaotic affair.

Summary
Freshly divorced from Mystra, Gale moves to Baldur's Gate and stumbles upon a games café that hosts Papers and Paychecks, a tabletop role playing game that just so happens to be Gale's special interest.
The owner of the café is Halsin, who is in dire need of someone to run those sessions.
Gale jumps at the opportunity, which definitely has nothing at all to do with the fact that Halsin is the most handsome man he's ever seen. A shame he's married, then... or is it?

Summary
Six months ago, Astarion would’ve had the power to cross that border. Six months ago, he had all the freedom in the world to cross that boundary and walk right onto the balcony. All it took was one day. One day and that power was gone. Sixteen words later and they were off to live together in Waterdeep. Settling down while their companions set off to find adventure in the Hells and the Astral Plane.
One day. Sixteen words. Six months. Now, there were no more adventures. No more sunlight to kiss his face each morning. Just Astarion and Gale. Settled in Waterdeep. Suffocating in salt and monotony.
TL;DR: Astarion struggles with returning to a life of normalcy in Waterdeep with Gale. Without the ability to walk freely in the sun, he feels trapped inside the tower. Gale devises a plan to give Astarion freedom from his affliction.
