Rune Grimoire, an Uthune of the Naviasin Tribe, leaves home in a search of adventure and the wandering call of her Drunish blood. While on the path to the Drunish Tribes' winter grounds, the tribe of her Father and Grandfather, she arrives too late and has to forge her own path through the Northern Mountains. On her journey she meets friends, a strange new family, and uncovers a nefarious plot that involves her father’s kidnapping, which may end the world as they know it.

Summary
The Battle of Galidran is a pivotal point between the Jedi and the Mandalorians, in whichever universe one is in, if it ever comes to this.
In one universe, a unified, moderately strong Mandalore demands recompense from the Jedi and the Republic that ordered the former to strike, for the fatal mistake they committed against Mandalore on Galidran.
In response, the Republic orders the Jedi to send people to make up for the Mandalorian warriors who were lost in the aforementioned fatal mistake.
a 14-year-old Obi-Wan Kenobi, newly retrieved by Qui-Gon Jinn and returned to the Order from Melida/Daan, is one of them. And he is not the only controversial “offering” in this “package.” Not the least.

“Why did you insist on waiting this long?!”
“I want to watch the sun rise.” Ben muttered, “It reminds me that even as the dark sets in, the light will come back around eventually. It always does. It has become hard to remember that recently.”
The answer left Jaster speechless.
Ben sounded wounded– hurt in a way which would not heal with time alone. He looked like a tired Verd, a battle-weary warrior. Jaster had seen the look before. Many Verde wore it. The glint of deeply rooted pain sparked in Ben’s eyes too.
Instead of asking more, Jaster turned his head to watch the sunrise along with Ben.
It was peaceful.
The dawn of a new day.

"Your aversion to bourbon is unsurprising." Dooku didn't quite turn his back to Obi-Wan but didn't hold a position that gave him an advantage as he grabbed a bottle. "Perhaps a cider would be more to your liking. I do remember you being fond of 'juice' as a youngling."
"What?"
"Of course I stock up on a variety. I have manners."
"No, not that." Obi-Wan frowned at him, and Dooku lamented the grey hairs and wrinkles on someone still so young. Though he must admit he probably looks adequate given that Skywalker is his padawan. "You never knew me as a youngling. We first met in Genosis."
"We were well acquainted before I left the Order," Dooku started. "You used to hide under my cloak and sit at my feet during council meetings."
"You really expect me to believe that you'd let younglings hide under your cloak and that the council allowed toddlers at their meetings?"
Or the one where Obi-Wan does not remember back when he used to seek out Dooku as a toddler. He thinks Dooku's age is getting to him.
