Summary
Thomas stabs Newt. Everyone knows this, but what some might not catch is that the knife has Thomas's blood on it. The blood gives Newt the time and opportunity to be rescued by a group of civilians that's fleeing the Last City.
This new situation raises a lot of questions for Newt:
How did he survive?
Are Tommy and his friends?
Are these people good?
Are they willing to help Newt get to Safe Haven?
What will he do if omething stops him from getting there?
Will he accept the help of someone he can't trust?
Will he realise that this feeling of longing for Thomas is more than that?Well, it sure is a long journey. But even if Newt is known for giving up (specially on life), he won't give up on this, he will not stop until he's with his people again
or: Newt lives and needs to get back to his friends (and Tommy of course), Thomas (and Minho) are going through it and Teresa is trying to redeem herself.

He placed the file folder down on the desk, two hands placed on top, as if to stop Ilya from reaching out and opening the file to find the results himself. “I hope you had some good rest last night.” Ilya wanted to reach across and shake the man. Instead he just made a face of agreement. “I have your results now if you’re ready.”

Shane and Ilya broke up. It was the adult, mature decision they made together and moved on from. Except Shane is still Ilya's emergency contact and Ilya's coach just called.
Ilya had a seizure. Well, seizures. Multiple. He is in the hospital, in the operation block and suddenly Shane is met with the possibility that last words Ilya Rozanov ever heard from him were "Maybe love isn't enough."
And then complications occur. And Ilya is not waking up.
