Summary
Idolatry is a sin. The faithful Ferryman knows this—yet when he gazes upon the statue of his savior that he so lovingly chiseled, he feels far, far closer to divinity. In the depths of Hell, Gabriel finds the Ferryman carving intimate details into his stone flesh.
(Alternatively: an arrogant angel chooses to encourage his most devout follower’s many sins—including, but not limited to, idolatry.)

Summary
V1's processor buzzed as objective after objective filed in. Why had it wanted to leave Fraud? There was so much for it here. It hadn't been able to truly let itself fight in so long. It could stay for a while, right? It had nothing else to do.
V1 finally convinces Gabriel to let it explore the next layer of Hell.

Summary
Sometimes V1 forgot that Gabriel was flesh and blood. He was far above anything V1 had encountered that it didn’t quite remember that he was fragile beneath his armor. He was so warm, so soft, so unlike anything else in Hell.
V1 wanted to dig its hands into his flesh to find out where all that warmth came from.
