Summary
Viktor’s life has prepared him for a great many things, just not for the particular situation of accidentally walking in on Jayce—his roommate, best friend, and unfortunately also the very heterosexual object of Viktor’s very homosexual desires—jerking off naked in bed.
That is as unexpected as it is agonizingly awkward but at least something Viktor could rectify by graciously laughing it off as the perils of university roommateship. A funny story for them both to have a hearty chuckle about afterwards.
However, the part that will make this difficult is that Jayce isn’t in his own bed.
He’s in Viktor’s.

“You are very dramatic.” Viktor tilted his head. “But if you ask me whether I am fine again, I will hit you with my cane.”
The words were out of his mouth before he’d even had the chance to process, and he nearly froze, not sure what possessed him to say such a thing. He opened his mouth, ready to do damage control, before—
Jayce barked out a laugh, loud and unrestrained.
“Yeah, well. Sorry for worrying about my partner.” Even through the faint sarcasm of the statement, the words were suffused with such fond, familiar warmth that Viktor felt his breath catch in his chest.
Partner?
Well. That certainly explained the touch. And the warmth in his voice. And the way Viktor leaned toward him instead of away— an innate response. This, at least, made sense now. Viktor had not dared to include this option as one of his preliminary hypotheses.
They were together. Dating. Whatever the most adequate term would be.
OR: Viktor gets amnesia, logically concludes he and Jayce are together, and starts running experiments to confirm it. Jayce is whipped. That's the fic.

Summary
Viktor knew better than to try to get Jayce’s attention, so he resisted the urge to stand up and lean against the railing to wave at him. Luckily, Jayce looked up at almost that exact moment, scanning the stands carefully until his eyes landed on Viktor.
His breath caught in his throat, completely enchanted, as he watched Jayce raise an arm in the air to wave at him. Smiling back, glad to finally see him after being apart for almost an entire day, Viktor stood up and waved back.
Soon, the rest of the team demanded his attention, so Jayce blew him a quick kiss and returned to the warm-up while Viktor went back to his seat, his cheeks flushed.
While Jayce plays one of the most important games of his career, Viktor supports him wholeheartedly from the stands.
