Summary
That they have a ‘rule’ revolving around the wearing of skimpy sleep shorts still feels ridiculous to Dunk, and it’s all the more appropriate that Daeron had been the one to come up with it. It was borne in the early days of their relationship, and the infancy of their sex life. A very adult, very mature, deeply mortifying conversation about things they’re into, things they want or are willing to try, and things that are likely off the table for the foreseeable future. Daeron had asked, in as many words, if Dunk is all right with one of them fucking the other in their sleep.
Daeron comes home late to find Dunk waiting up for him, and decides to reward him for his patience.

Summary
Maekar never really cared about other people's opinion, he was loved, he was cared for, but now the monster that he suppressed for so long was starting to come out. The worst part was that he was aware and it became more frustrating.
