After a NYC away game, norovirus knocks out the Montreal Metros—all except for Captain Shane Hollander, who was in Boston when they got it, not that anyone can know that. Practice is cancelled and so is their next game, pending illness. While the rest of the team is hugging the porcelain throne, shitting themselves and feeling like death incarnate, Shane is getting railed ten ways to Sunday. He only kinda feels bad about it.

Shane and Ilya BOTH: We don’t know.
Ilya: We hear you can help with this.
[Maury nods, rubbing his mouth. The audience oooohs and laughs.]

“Oh yes, I’m sure doctors would say this is fine,” Rozanov waved his hands around more violently. “‘Yes, Hollander’ they would say, ‘take your broken ribs and go get fucked so hard you cannot move. Is no problem, no problem at all’.”
“Bruised, not broken,” Shane corrected, although he knew that wasn’t really the point. “And a little rough sex isn’t going to kill me. I’ll be back on the ice before the next Raiders game, it won’t affect the season if you’re like…worried about poor sportsmanship or whatever.”
“Fuck Hollander, I do not care about the season! I care about–” Rozanov cut himself off sharply.
Shane gets injured during a game, then tries to hide that fact from Ilya. It goes about as well as you might expect.

Lestat waits for Louis to continue, and when he hears nothing more, realisation starts to hit.
He looks at Louis’ feet, the back of his ankles pressed against Lestat’s thigh, and places his hand on Louis’ leg, runs it down until it wraps around Louis’ ankle, gently pressing over the flesh, the pads of his fingers stroking the skin.
“Louis,” Lestat says, quietly. “You still have them.”
