    Tim and Danny find out they're soulmates on their 9th birthdays, which also happens to be Christmas Day. Less than 2% of the world's population swap bodies with their soulmates. YAY! Even less than that have more than one marker. Danny and Tim find out that they ALSO have soul marks for each other. Oh fun. But with body swaps, it doesn't just happen one time. Scientists and those that study soulmates can't explain when the switch will happen or what triggers it.

    Tim's a littler stalker. At night. In Gotham.

    Danny's family home is an OSHA nightmare.

    Neither are prepared, but they will help each other on the way. Oh, and Jazz is there too.

    After graduating high school, Danny moved to Gotham to study and work and importantly not having to fight ghosts on a daily basis. Each hour spent as Phantom means two hours recovering for him, so he avoids it as best he can. As the Ghost King, he can't avoid it fully. He does well to stay under the radar, until his boss, Lucius Fox, wants him to work on a Top Secret Project. Coincidentally, he befriends Tim, not realizing who he is dealing with at first. Then Tim helps him recover after a rogue attack, and friendship turns into love quickly.

    Uploads each Monday; Chapters around 4k words each. I have already written 120k words and am still counting.

    The ruins of the city rose up from the ground like shattered teeth, jagged and splintered, biting into the sky with a stark, alien viciousness. A graveyard disturbed, mired fields of churned up earth and chunks of stony rubble. Craters blasted into the pavement, splinters of broken glass glinting between piles of debris like tiny bastard stars– No stone uncracked, no building untouched.

    Smokey remnants drifted long between the dimming clouds, thick ribbons of lethargic, billowing ash all black and gunmetal gray, exhaling from toppled buildings like a sigh. Or final breath. It settled over the city’s carcass like a shroud. Like the fog that lingers over the road in the early morning. And everywhere, fires simmered dim and glistening– like clumps of hot coals in a bonfire. Banked, it seemed, from several days of burning, their rage already depleted.

    Whatever had happened that night, Amity Park had not gone quietly.

    Tim is on the run after being tortured by the joker and convincing himself he’s a danger to everyone he loves he washes up on the outlaws door steps to beg Jason Todd to end his life and save his loved ones. Jason however thinks this is insane so Jason, Roy and Kori decide they're going to help Tim accept his new reality and learn about coping with trauma.
    This fic is very personal and about learning to live with mental illness and physical disability. It's also the first thing I've written since I became disabled a few years ago. It does get heavy in places, please read the trigger warnings.
