Summary
Luffy looks again at the bitemarks that he left on Zoro’s wrist. Zoro’s usually hurt, one way or another. Sometimes it’s definitely been Luffy’s fault too, but the bitemarks feel different. They ain’t like normal bruises or cuts. There’s something about seeing the shape of his teeth in Zoro’s skin. Something about the colors, the slightly paler insides of Zoro’s wrists, and the blueness of his veins, and the dark pink color of where Luffy bit him.

Luffy’s face split into a massive, relieved grin, the tension bleeding out of him in a rush. "Stupid! Don't scare me like—"
Luffy reached out to grab Zoro’s face, a familiar, invasion of personal space he had done a thousand times. But before his rubbery fingers could make contact, a calloused hand shot up and gripped his wrist.
The grip wasn't playful. It wasn't the fond, exasperated push of a first mate dealing with his hyperactive captain. It was a vice of pure, defensive iron.
Luffy blinked, his smile faltering.

“Grimmond is the third to fail this month. How am I meant to defend Camelot with rubbish like that?” Arthur pulls off his glove with two fingers, tossing it behind him for Merlin to catch.
“I think I might be able to help,” Merlin pipes up.
“You?” Arthur repeats. “What do you know about being a knight? You haven’t the faintest idea what it takes to be one. Courage. Fortitude. Discipline.” Anyone else would take it as an insult, but Merlin just bobs his head in pleasant agreement.
“No, no. Of course I don’t,” Merlin says. “But I know someone who does.”
