Too hot. Oswald dangles his feet in the water, but it hardly offsets the scorching heat of the sun. Everything’s too bright and he’s tired of it, but Mother insisted he spent some time in the sun to help his sickly disposition and he couldn’t argue with her, not when he knew how much she worked and scraped by to afford this little beach trip. It’s okay, Oswald thinks. He’ll sit in the sun for a while, maybe even get a tan that looks like a tan and not like he’s been doused with hot water. At least he’s practically alone here.
