He can't help but to laugh with her, a smile worming its way onto his face as he follows her. His men will be fine without him for an hour, he thinks as she wastes no time. Before the tent flap has even fully closed she's on him. Pushing herself up against him while simultaneously tugging him closer. Make that two.

Varang, who also managed to escape along with her Clan, saves him, after all, he is now her mate. Both now must deal with the changes to both their worlds and consider if the path in front of them is one they wish to continue on and if there truly is anything better left for them.
