Summary
Anakin Skywalker is loyal to the Empire which saved his life years ago. Now he is hellbent on crushing the rebels, Jedi and everyone else who dares to defy the Empire and threaten the peace it brought upon the Galaxy.
Unfortunately for him the newest detainee is just that: a rebel, Jedi and definitely someone trying to sabotage the Empire. But that's not all the detainee is just a child.
Anakin may have done some morally questionable stuff in the past, but harming children is not a line he is willing to cross.
Especially if the young togruta reminds him so much of himself.
And Ahsoka? She just wants to get back to where she belongs, to her Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Summary
Anakin Skywalker was known as the headstrong and impulsive Senator of Tatooine. Unusual for a place like that to have a senator like him. A place like that had hardened him and not many senators had come from the outer rim. Padmé Naberrie was known as a calm rational Jedi, the perfect idea of what a Jedi should be. Or so she was told. She did everything in her power to follow the code as perfectly as she could. But, when Anakin has another assination attempt against him Padmé is pulled back in Anakin's life. Old feelings start to resurface and influence their duties. Will love or will duty prevail? How will Padmé as a Jedi and Anakin as a Senator change the course of the story?
