Unfortunately for everyone involved; Aerion is both ex-military and a former mercernary and he will not go down without a fight.

Summary
Duncan Pennytree was a simple bloke, he wanted to become a detective, solve crime and protect the innocent; just like his adoptive father Arlan had taught him. The universe throws a wrench in his plans when an accident happens and suddenly Arlan is dead! someone claims Duncan's parents were murdered and were dragon shifters therefore he is as well.
Almost overnight, every Targaryen has him on their radar. A bunch of people want him dead a bunch other people want to start a religion/ cult in his name and in the midst of it all he can't keep the enigmatic Aerion Targaryen out of his mind even though he's sure the very pretty, very pompous little prick hates him. -
