Summary
Adrien's older cousin, Jillian is visiting from the States. The last time he had seen her was when his mom was still around, and they had gone to visit her, in Boston. He had been 8 at the time. Now, he was double that, and comfortably in his niche of school and Chat Noir. He has friends, and is learning how to actually socialize with people. Life is great! But, Jillian forces him to step out of his comfort zone and face reality. Luckily for him, she forces his friends to come with. Unfortunately, it seems that his older cousin is right, and there is a reason for him and his friends to face reality.

Summary
Steve’s life is good. He’s managed to keep Dustin safe, coming up on six years of the two of them criss-crossing the Midwest, tracking down the monsters who are still slipping through the cracks between worlds, and ending them. And he’s got PK686766, who he met in an anonymous chatroom and whose emails are now kinda the highlight of his day. And who can maybe give him a little advice on what to do when a guy you thought was dead suddenly returns out of nowhere, and is now apparently set on blowing up your life.
Eddie’s life is fine. He’s alive, for one thing. Has gotten pretty good by now at his new gig, letting Uncle Sam point him like a cannon at extra-dimensional nasties and go “boom.” Sure, things are a little more complicated now that Steve Harrington has decided to be a massive bitch about Eddie’s attempts to stop his and Dustin’s homicidal amateur crusade against the forces of darkness. But he’s got the next message from Capt200Free waiting in his inbox, and a growing feeling that maybe he doesn't want this little anonymous pen pal situation to stay anonymous much longer.

Dustin knows what a maw-mouth is. His mom sat him down when he was eight and told him that, when the time came for him to start killing mals, there was one mal that he should never try to kill. That he should, in fact, run away from as fast as possible, because it’s that or get eaten for all eternity.
There’s a difference, though, between knowing what one is and actually seeing one.
(Steve and Dustin are both wizards. They have a vastly different understanding of how their world works.)

“He’s dressed like Steve.” Dustin says plainly, monotone in that way he gets when he’s genuinely upset and not just worked up for show.
“Why?” Mike is asking because he still hasn’t processed the ugly fact of the matter, reasonably so considering how bizarre it is to witness someone be so braindead in public, but Lucas would like an answer that addresses the other type of why. Like, why is Conner Marrigan such a fucking asshole?
“Clearly, uh, Marrigan wanted to have a costume no one else would think of.” Eddie chimes in. For once he sounds almost nervous, though Lucas has no idea why. “I figured I’d let you know, considering your allegiance to Harrington and also the general fact that it’s a pretty fucked up thing to do.”
