Summary
Dreadwing survives Megatron’s betrayal, and escapes the Nemesis with his life. He knows he cannot return to avenge his brother right away, lest he want to court death again, so he needs to lay low and plan his next moves properly. It’s too bad he ends up adopting a group of four younglings. That might just but a dampener on his plans.
The Rescue Bots hadn’t ever thought they’d be adopting a large, formerly Decepticon Seeker. Yet here they are. He’s a little rough, and he’s known only War and combat for so long, but that’s alright. They can teach him how to enjoy life without fear of death hanging over his head. They just have to be patient, right?
OR: In which Dreadwing lives, the Rescue Bots get a new ally/mentor/father, and the Burns family learn more about Cybertron, it’s War and their Cybertronian partners than they ever thought they would.
Oh, and Blades is part of a gestalt. There’s that too. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know where his brothers are, or if they’re even alive.

Summary
Soundwave is not an idiot. What he is though is really good at monitoring Autobot activity. So, eventually he finds this Autobot team called the "Rescue Bots". After meeting them, the decepticons realize that maybe more to them that they probably thought. Not in the more than meets the eye way, as in violence just doesn't seem to be an option around them. What.
As time goes on, the Rescue Bots break out of prison, help the decepticons, befriends a few of them, and manage to gain themselves a new ally.
Aka: Since Rescue Bots is a child show, they have that child tv show plot armor. Meaning, serious injuries don't exist, no one dies, and almost everyone becomes friends. This is my idea of if you were to combine this with a Transformers Prime decepticons. Plot armor vs horrible people. Yay.

Summary
Soundwave has figured out that the most precious things to the Autobots are the little organic creatures they keep close. Lazerbeak has spent plenty of time spying; it’s finally time to pounce. Starscream couldn’t care less about Soundwave’s frankly deplorable idea of kidnapping those vermin for information and leverage, he just hopes he doesn’t have to babysit. Knockout really just wants a break, but no, he’s stuck looking up disturbing human anatomy because he can’t let the damn pest die if they want the upper hand; he feels like he needs to wash his optics after reading all of this. Breakdown is curious, to say the least. The only thing he knows about human culture is from the Movies he and Knockout watch together; he just hopes he can learn more about it. Megatron is pleased with how things are going at the moment, and if one of the insects gets squished well, it’s one less problem for him, or so he thinks.
The cons think and act the way they do because it’s the only way to survive in this war. What if a couple of kids remind them what it means to not just make it to tomorrow but to actually live.
