Summary
Sage is forced into a fight against Jett, or someone who seems remarkably like Jett and knows Sage’s weaknesses. The resulting shock from that mission leaves Sage scarred and reluctant to open up, much less to Jett herself. Fortunately, Jett can’t stand seeing her girlfriend avoid her at all costs, and she’ll get the truth out of Sage if it’s the last thing she does.
Or: Mirror Jett taunts Sage in a mission on Fracture. Hurt/comfort and an abundance of cuddles ensue when Actual Jett finds out what happened to Sage.

“M-Mizi?”
Her girlfriend’s name came out as a pathetic croak. Her throat was dry. Parched from all the adrenaline. She never forgot about the hand around her neck either. The figure above her hummed low, seemingly pleased, then gave a curt nod in confirmation. Sua felt the tension leave her body now that she knew it was her girlfriend above her instead of some stranger. The relief was instant. Her guard lowered.
That was a mistake.
The fingers around her throat flexed. It was the only warning she got before her airway was cut off. Sua flinched, hands once again clawing at the fabric on her girlfriend’s wrist. And once again, it was useless. Sua was weak, but she was especially weak against her girlfriend.
Mizi pressed their foreheads together. As much as she could with the mask obscuring her face anyway. And even though Sua couldn’t see her handsome face, she knew her girlfriend was frowning.

Sua wakes slowly, and not completely. She’s in that soft-sleepy sort of haze, where she feels and hears things but can’t bring herself to open her eyes just yet. Her body feels sweaty and‒ warm, unbearably warm, and she’s made increasingly more and more aware of the heat between her thighs as the seconds pass by.
At first she thinks she just happened to have a wet dream; she experiences them rarely, but it happens. A few moments pass by, maybe seconds, maybe minutes‒ she’s not entirely aware, until she realizes that the hands are still touching her even when she’s more awake; an arm wrapped under and around her, fingertips touching slowly up her stomach. A body, feeling impossibly hot, pressed against her back.
