Sasuke has only ever known the immense pressure and shame of being an omega in his alpha dominated family. He could never forget the shame, disappointment and resentment his parents felt when he presented as one. He never wanted to be stuck to an alpha, he just wanted his family to SEE him. Albeit, the shame of enjoying the perks of being an omega hinders his acceptance that an alpha could ever truly love him.
