Summary
Once upon a time there was a little prince who fell into a pit, only to find that, deep down beneath his world was a green land full of strange creatures. The strangest of these was the king, a young man with a halo of white hair who took it on himself to guide the little prince through his kingdom and who was always sure to help him find his way home in the end.
Eventually, the little prince’s mother found out, and barred him from ever returning to those green lands down below. As he grew, the prince forgot the land and his friends, writing them off as childhood fancies. He left his mother’s home and went to live with his father, though he would always bare the mark of that place.
Perhaps that could have been the end, but one day a strange and familiar man would come. The prince’s brother, touched as he was by the same green lands, fell in love with the stranger, and so one day brought him to the prince’s castle to meet his family, albeit at the behest of their eldest brother and not his own will. The young man was named Danny. Damien did not know him, but he knew Damien and soon, much that had been buried would come to the surface once again.

As if fatherhood wasn't bad enough, Danny had to deal with Officer Grayson. The perfect father who lived in the house next door. His daughter Mar'i studied with Ellie and the halfa developed a rivalry with him. May the best dad win.

Summary
When Mahal himself offers to send Thorin back to the start of the quest to save the line of Durin, he is determined to make amends for all of the mistakes he made the first time around.
When Bilbo wakes up in Bag End eighty years in the past, all he knows is that he has somehow been given the chance to see his beloved dwarves again and he'll be damned if he doesn't take it.
Both dwarf and hobbit are desperate to prevent the quest from ending in tragedy, but neither will be able to do it on their own. They'll need to work together if they want to keep the entire Company alive and whole --but first they need to realize that they are not alone in their efforts, and they have to stop getting in each other's way at every turn they make.
Hopefully, they'll learn some things this time that they failed to learn before. And maybe, just maybe, they'll find their happy ending that both have been yearning for.
