He won't though. Steve's a professional and he knows better than to strangle Barnes. Too likely to leave marks. Doesn't mean he can't yell some more.
"Next time I tell you to stay in position I expect you to stay there!"
A smile spreads over Barnes' features and paired with the gleam in his eye, Steve knows whatever comes out the man's mouth next is bound to piss him off.
He's not wrong.
"Is that your thing Captain? You wanna put me in my place until you're ready to use me?"
"Oh, fuck you, Barnes."
The smile widens even more. "Yeah, fuck me."

Summary
He’s not riding the waves of arousal and affection so much as drowning in them. Happily, willingly, recklessly, and Poe should know better than to chase that feeling, than to get lost in it. He should take it slow, if not for his own sake then for Finn, who’s sworn up and down that he’s ready for this, who’s assured Poe that it’s far from his first time, who Poe's careful not to patronize but still so desperate to protect.

Finn moves ever so slightly, and Poe’s mouth goes slack, his eyes dipping shut. He moans Finn’s name in a way he’s never moaned Finn’s name before, quiet and pleading. He’s clenching down around Finn, head thrown back into the pillow, his chest rising and falling rapidly, and Finn realizes, with sudden clarity, He wants me to fucking wreck him.
