    Toshinori breathes through his mouth, trying to ignore the taste of cotton shirt on his tongue, as his own voice greets his ears.

    “I fear,” Toshinori starts, pushing futilely at Midoriya’s chest until the kid, with a blush and stammer, pulls away. “That we may have been inflicted with a quirk.”

    All Might and Izuku find themselves hit with a quirk that allows them to walk a mile in each other's shoes for a few days. It has ups and downs.

    “Yooouch. Looks like it’s raining cats and dogs today, listener,” a voice seems to huff beside her, sounding vaguely amused as they plop on down. There's a wet squelch as leather makes contact with the floor. “Think Eraser’s a fan?”

    She tilts her head up from where she’s perched beneath the stall. Her eyebrows furrow, mouth falling open before snapping firmly shut. If she hadn't, the resounding, embarrassing squeak that left her wouldn't have been as muffled, just as brown eyes fully deadlocked onto the pro hero that's cozied right on next to her. 

    Cozied up. As if he belonged there.

    Why was he here?!

    Some rainy days just require someone to stay and hold out a hand.

    As Daigoro soon discovered, the limitations of realism and reality didn’t apply here in this half-dream half-void space, meaning his quirk was a lot more versatile here than it had been when he was alive. Not only could it take any shape he wanted it to, but it could also change color, consistency, and split apart. The other vestiges were a bit concerned at what he could do with this newfound power, but it’s not like he could harm anybody here…
    Physically.
    Because eventually Daigoro achieved his goal from the beginning of his experiments with Blackwhip: he made a deck of cards. With that, the vestiges discovered that Daigoro Banjo was a gambling man.
