for an Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind fic, with Sand just erasing the happy memories with Ray and Boe! Because Sand is not Mew, he is masochistic and petty, and very resentful! He wants to remember why he gave up on them, and he's not Mew who's going to run away or erase the past! There was a badass fic that was released in the universe of this film, and I think Sand deserves that too, but in a more cruel way, since Sand can live painfully with her choices! Possible TopSand just because saccharism, irony and dark humor suit these two!

Niran left on his zen fieldtrip or whatever, and Pete was not mad at him about it. He wasn’t. He was just... lonely.
The stupid thing was that Pete finally had his life back, but it felt somehow empty. He had his sister back in the house. He was finally getting a college degree. He had plans for the future and the job he wanted to do. He had money to spend thanks to Niran paying him for helping seal Qi Rong. But there was a stupid hole in his chest that refused to be filled. It almost felt like when he’d lost his parents – wandering through life and expecting them to be around every corner.
