Summary
“What is the meaning of this, Vincent?” Alastor said with a scowl as he entered the cabin (which Vincent had unfortunately begun calling their cabin as of late).
White flower petals were strewn all over the floor and instead of the typical summoning ritual ingredients, there were now candles and lace doilies atop Alastor’s altar. Vincent was standing in front of the altar, wearing one of his evening party suits and clearly hiding something behind his back.
(aka: vincent attempts to give alastor a wedding ceremony. alastor agrees to it, but he also has religious trauma flashbacks.)

Summary
Vincent Whittman was one of the top executives at Morning Star Enterprises and Alastor Touissant had the misfortune of being one of the interns shadowing him for the fall semester. Alastor was in his final year of undergrad, studying for a bachelor’s degree in media studies, and he knew he was in a very prestigious position.

“I wanted to see how you were doing,” Allie said, delighting at the discomfort etched across Victoria’s face. “I’m staying in Los Angeles for two weeks and heard you were in the city. My friend Angel had told me about his ex acquiring a new toy and the face in the picture he showed me was quite familiar.”
Victoria’s face suddenly flushed red with anger.

Summary
All sinners of hell bore some physical marks of how they lived and died. Some physical manifestations were more obvious while others were subtle. Vox was not an exception to this rule.
While his television head was an obvious indication of his life while on Earth, the mark he bore from his death was far more subtle. Luckily enough, his shame was easily concealed behind a high collar. Unfortunately, he is just as well known in his afterlife as he was in his life. As such, trying to make everyone believe that he is so much stronger than what his death implies is a constant battle. He only wished that he wasn’t the hardest one to convince.

Alastor’s injury from the battle is still not healing a month after the extermination. Charlie turns to Vox for help. The past haunts both, decades later, causing pain and problems in the present.

Summary
By 37, Alastor Hartfelt had a lot of issues. The newest? While at a party in honor of one of his least favorite people alive, he was introduced to a houseguest of theirs so unbelievable that he nearly usurped that title in their first five minutes alone.
He killed men like Vincent Whittman: a Maryland transplant, eight years his junior, hand-gifted a position far exceeding his skill, simultaneously unaware of just how much he makes the lives of everyone around him worse and 100% willing to weaponize that the second it’s convenient. He would have killed him if the disappearance wouldn’t have been so easy to trace. Because now they were not only coworkers; he was also his (unwilling) tour guide to all things Louisiana. But when a night resolves in the last way Alastor expected, he realized Vincent was also three other things: still at the mercy of his hormones, easy to manipulate with praise, and so enthralled by the ‘world’ Alastor opened his eyes to that he quickly proved willing to do anything for more - from advocating for him to other whites, to scrubbing their blood off tile.
As long as they’re both getting something they want out of it, Alastor supposes it could be good to have him around.
