Halsin’s hand grabbed at the lawyer’s shirt to pull him closer. Astarion pulled away first, breath catching in his throat, lips red and plump. He looked at Halsin as if waiting for him to move away, but his hands stayed wrapped up in the collar of his shirt.
“Sorry, I–... I didn’t mean–” Astarion whispered.
“No, I-I want this,” Halsin panted, tightening his grip on the collar of Astarion’s shirt, “I want you.”

There’s a challenge in his voice, a defiant tilt to his chin where he sizes Hans up. Hans watches him push sweaty hair out of his eyes, revealing a dark smudge under one cheek, and wonders if it’s dirt or blood from their little scuffle.
Hans swallows. “Once more,” he says simply. “Chase me.”
Catch me, he doesn’t say.Or, Hans finds himself on the other side of the hunt.
