“Didn’t you sleep with those Swedish twins in Cabo?”
“They were not identical. It does not count!”

Three weeks had passed since they had seen each other last. Three weeks since that night at a random Montreal club, when Shane realized, too late, that whatever he thought could happen between him and Rozanov, was an illusion. But he was no fool. Shane had caught the flicker of pain on his rival’s face as he kissed that gorgeous stranger, almost as if he had wished his tongue were dancing in someone else's mouth. But he also saw the rage. That raw stare that promised 'I will never forgive you'.
“Did you see the news about Rozanov?”
Shane bit down on the string of his hoodie as he checked the news for himself.
Ilya Rozanov, said to be engaged to a certain Svetlana Vitrova, daughter of famous Soviet hockey goaltender Sergei Vitrov.

Right after episode 4, Ilya is rumored to be engaged to Svetlana, which is enough to make Shane lose his mind.

Summary
A nineteen-year-old Shane Hollander is a completely normal college student-- well, almost. In between studying and lectures, he kills vampires.
In a world where vampires crawl the earth, feeding on the innocent, there has to be someone to stop them. Or multiple someones. Shane is one of them, more out of tradition than anything else. He doesn't take pleasure in killing vampires like other hunters do. Despite this, he continues to hunt, to protect the earth from these dangerous, unpredictable, bloodthirsty monsters.
Ilya Rozanov is also a completely normal nineteen-year-old college student. Other than the tiny little hiccup that he's one of the bloodthirsty monsters Shane's grown-up hunting.
Despite their differences, this unlikely duo teams up in an attempt to find what vampire has been going around killing hunters.

Summary
No matter how many times they meet and his eyes flicker with dim recognition, whether it’s at the dive bar on Beacon Street or the French cafe near TD Garden, she wonders which will happen first: Ilya Rozanov realizing she’s twins with the guy he’s been hooking up with since his rookie season, or that he’s in love with said guy.
Of course, she also feels the same curiosity every time Shane tells her he has to end it, only to fall right back into Rozanov’s lap.
Boys are so dumb, honestly. It’s a shame she’s quite fond of them both.
