Robotnik was not in control of his thoughts well enough to get a sentence strung together so he just blurted out, “Sycofriend!” before collapsing to his knees and trying to catch his breath.
Stone went rigid, any warmth from him a moment before was gone as he simply stared at the man before him. He didn’t blink as he raised the gun and pointed it at the doctor.

Everyone at G.U.N is exposed to an unknown alien virus, and has to quarantine in separate small gun apartments. Conveniently, Stone and Robotnik are stuck in rooms directly next to each other so they have at least a little community in the long isolated months ahead.
