Summary
An undercover Elliot Stabler feels a sense of dread and fear he can't explain, only to find out three days later that Olivia Benson has been kidnapped by an SVU perpetrator. Demanding to be pulled out immediately, he jumps into the search as soon as he can get there.
In the aftermath of Olivia's very close-call rescue, he is determined to care for her, and she can't do anything but admit she feels safest when he's with her...but safe doesn't mean happy, and partnership doesn't mean love...or does it? Dark brown hair, darker eyes, tan complexion and a strong jawline. Instead she held a boy who would grow to be a man with eyes the same shade as his. As The Beast's. His hair was not dark but a light brown against the delicate curve of his skull.

When C mentioned he originally wrote the rescue of Sad Eyes in the end of OC 5x02 to include M, my mind started spinning and it didn't stop until I started writing this. I wish SVU had given her those extra days of shooting, but since they suck, I guess this will have to suffice.
