Fink blinked, blinked again, before he brightened and the smile that grew across his face was nothing in comparison to the one on Brightbill’s face, who’s beak pulled into a wide, dazzling smile.
“You did?” Fink asked, laughed at Brightbill’s frantic nod. “I just- congratulations kid! I knew you could do it!”
Months after Roz left, Brightbill makes a friend.
This is amazing news for everyone except Fink's patience, but it's still amazing news.

Tails stopped soldering for a moment, thinking, before turning around. Sonic's eyes were far away again, his body curling up even more on the window seat, cheeks pressed against the glass.
His eyes were getting shiny again.
(Sonic had come home an hour ago, falling to his knees and desperately pulling Tails into a hug. And Tails could see the mussed up fur on his cheeks, the bags under red-tinged eyes, and felt the shivers rippling across Sonic's body as Tails hugged him back.)

Throughout Nooroo’s lifespan with the Guardians, occasionally a Miraculous would get lost or was misused.
It became inevitable and happened more often than he would've appreciated.
For the Guardians, it meant destruction and chaos. But for Nooroo, it meant one of his fellow kwamis was being used against their will, for stuff they didn’t want to do.
He remembered a holder he had, so many years ago. When she had asked about the other kwamis and Nooroo described their relationship, she had smiled kindly and told him that they sounded like such a great family.
That's what they were. A family through thick and thin. When one of them went missing, it hurt far more because that was their sibling these people were abusing.
AKA. All the kwamis have trauma and Nooroo has to deal with being hit the worse after Gabriel. This is how they begin to heal from everything, from the Guardians to Gabriel and how they get through it.

It was... weird, having all these animals being near their home.
Brightbill wasn’t really sure what to think when he heard almost the entire forest stayed in their house during a winter storm- which he is fascinated that everyone managed to fit but Roz has always been good at figuring stuff like that out- but he really isn’t sure how to feel right now. All the other animals usually kept a large berth away from this place and them, barring Pinktail and her kids and sometimes Paddler. Brightbill feels like he should be more grateful that everyone cares about Roz so much now that they’re willing to help rebuild his home and he knows he should be happy because the other animals like them now but...
But Roz was leaving for who knows how long soon. So he wasn’t sure how to feel about anything anymore.
