Summary
Penelope Featherington is stuck. Her job’s a mess, her dating life’s a bigger mess, and her best friend just dragged her to a remote eco-retreat slash research outpost on an island where the WiFi is nonexistent, the seaweed-infused drinks flow freely, and everybody seems to ignore the warning signs for the neighborhood great white sharks.
The plan: meditate, journal, maybe find herself. The complication: Colin Bridgerton--yes, the same Colin Bridgerton who inexplicably ghosted her for a year--is also on the island, giving presentations and giving scuba lessons.
Still, as dive lessons replace meditation sessions and sea creatures prove less terrifying than unresolved feelings, Penelope starts to wonder if this trip might be more about rediscovery than escape. And maybe, just maybe, the tides are finally turning in her favor.
