Summary
"Comforted by the carpenter’s kindness, the bard started softly plucking the strings of his lyre and singing, hoping to pluck the strings of the carpenter’s heart too. He sang of his travels, his memories, up until his meeting with the carpenter."
This is the story of a carpenter (who's actually a builder) and a bard (who's actually a writer). The winding paths of their lives briefly intertwine from time to time, like branches of a tree growing towards the sky.
Sometimes, it takes a few detours to get to where you're supposed to be. And who knows - you might even find some easter eggs along the way. :)

“Sorry if it’s inappropriate to ask,” she said, seeing the man clearly had no intentions of adding anything else, “but what’s your name?”
Finally, a clear emotion lit up his face, even if as subtle as eyes widened in surprise.
“You... don’t know?”
“No,” she admitted apologetically. “I guess I should since I was working for your father, but, well, he didn’t mention you at all.”
“Hm.” The man considered her for a longer moment, then simply said, “Good.”
Without adding anything else, he turned his gaze away from her.
In other circumstances, Ivy would have surely walked away by now; she wasn’t a particularly patient person, and putting up with other people’s antics was definitely not her strong suit. But there was something about this man—something that tugged at her curiosity, an itch she knew wouldn’t go away unless scratched.
