Summary
Saying that Spamton was down on his luck was a generous understatement. After a failed stint in advertising, and with no other options available to him, he was forced to shoulder the embarrassment of crashing with his sister and her family, dogged with the question of when will he find something else.
Maybe that's why he ignores the warning signs when he scores a place at the local theater.
He could handle rumors of a ghost; they weren't real, after all. The incidents that led to the theater closing down? Tabloid, it had to be. Even the things going bump in the night had a clear explanation. But the mysterious, charming man promising him a chance? Now that was harder to ignore.

Summary
The ironclad re-learns how to work with others, and the regent finds a friend who's sturdy, good at following instructions, and probably doesn't even know what the top 100 chart IS. Frankly, this architect guy doesn't stand a chance.
(A mostly canon-compliant fic where two spire climbers make an uneasy alliance and discover, amidst all the absurdity and violence, they actually get along *quite well*)

Halfway through Ch.40
Genuinely has an interesting take on the fog and its workings. Lot of lovely moments amongst even the grimmest ones, Wraith is a sweetheart and concept of breaking through the Entity's hold to the killers is intriguing.

Summary

Alone and without anybody to help him in Castle Town, where mainly those who still know him aren't friendly to him, Spamton finds a recently-recruited television who doesn't recognize him whatsoever and chooses to use this to his advantage.

Summary
The pen weighed like lead in his hand.
A sword hung heavy above his head, and Spamton knew that signing the contract would sever the thin thread holding it aloft. He should not sign it.
The lord of the screens, cleaved red by blade. An addison turned puppet, strings cleaved by prophecized heroes. But long before that, a budding relationship, cleaved in two by the same forces that brought them together in the first place. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, and for the light that they brought each other, they were both cast into darkness.
It's in their darkest moments that their fates are intertwined once again. But they've been apart for much longer than they've been together, and the years have not been kind to either of them. Rebuilding takes time, and they may not be the same people as they once were, but their light is due for a rekindling.
