Summary
So MAYBE Jungwon's into some freaky shit, but it's not like he'd share that with anyone in his real-life world.
He limits his sexual fantasies to a very secluded portion of the internet, where they are safe and normal and not actually REAL, you know?
That secluded portion being the DMs of a forum user named "jpapi22" that he randomly found in a webtoon comment thread.
SO, maybe that's a weird way to meet someone, but jpapi22 just GETS him. He understands exactly what Jungwon likes, and doesn't press any boundaries he shouldn't.
It's perfect.
It also helps that he has an EXTREMELY sexy voice, which Jungwon recently discovered from "Jay's" voice-note habit.
Everything's going just the way it should.... until Jungwon starts his new internship.
He quickly realizes that the voice of his drop-dead-hot Manager Park sounds an AWFUL LOT like jpapi22, and it's making it VERY difficult to concentrate at work.
Suddenly, Jungwon's little private world is seeping into his real one, and he's not quite sure what to do about that.

“Kiss me.” Jay pleads. Jungwon leans in. His silky hair smells of honey and garden, enticing when he comes down further and brushes his lips on Jay’s. Not quite there but tickling the man with the sweet essence of his lips enough to get him high.
“What’s the magic word ?” His eyes shone bright in power as a mocking grin spread on his face.
“Please. Please. I beg you.” The vulnerable request reverberated against the four walls, its echo long and tranchant. Jungwon stared silently, just enough to let the weight of the humiliation expand on top of their heads.

"I was thinking that things were so complicated like this. So tangled up. I don't know about anything else right now, but what I know for sure is that," Jungwon inhales slowly, adrenaline spiking within him from his incoming words, "I want you."
Jay just looks at him, not moving.
So of course, Jungwon, nervously, begins to ramble.
"I mean, like, I enjoy being with you."
"..."
"...like, I want to be around you. More."
"..."
"I want to have you in my life. Like that."
A lazy grin begins to form on Jay's face, and Jungwon freezes.
"Why'd you stop? Keep going."

Summary
“For what it’s worth,” Jungwon starts, unaware that he’s quelling a ghost in Jay’s head, two voices overlapping. Jungwon's is louder. “For what it’s worth,” he repeats, husky voice quiet and honest, “I am glad to have you here, no matter what capacity it is in.”
Jay doesn't think Jungwon should be glad to have him here. No one should be.
His presence isn't a blessing, it's a curse.
There's something familiar about the way Jungwon's gaze lingers on him after he bids goodbye though, like he's trying to say something without saying it.
Maybe all the roads Jay has travelled have led him right here, and maybe, not everything has to end in tragedy.

Summary
“Are you from here?” Jungwon asks curiously. People from here don't often dress like this. The man chuckles, his sharp gaze never leaving Jungwon.
“No.” He answers with a smooth voice. “Just passing through. I left something here a long time ago. I came back to get it.”
Jungwon nods slowly. His fingers tighten slightly around the order pad he holds. “Something important?” He ponders, head tilted to the side.
The man tilts his head slightly, as if Jungwon had asked a more personal question than intended. A smile forms on his lips, slow and knowing.
“Very.” Then he looks back at the window, as if the conversation is over.
“Well… I hope you'll find whatever you're looking for.” Jungwon smiles tightly, holding the notebook against his chest.
Or going to Yangpyeong causes both Jungwon's luck and misfortune.
