Summary
Eleven years ago, Hiccup had turned Berk's fate around by pioneering dragonriding in the Archipelago. Five years later, he'd lost his father. Eight years, and he'd given up his place as Chief. Now, he spent his time rescuing dragons, mapping the skies with Toothless, and parenting his kids. Yet, something was still missing.
Far away in the north, a bastard sneaked around the kitchens, stealing sweet buns for the sister he couldn't call his own in a castle that didn't want him and never would. Every winter, people died in the city under the claws of beasts the court wizard couldn't keep away, and every winter, it got worse. The king needed to do something, and perhaps the tribe of Barbarians his people had encountered by accident would help. They had dragons, and you know what they said. Dragons were magic.
Sneak peek:
“He’s going to try for an alliance, you know?”
“What?”
The boy gave a noncommittal shrug.
“My sister’s old enough to be married.”
“I’m sorry, who’s your sister?”
“Princess Marianne, the king’s been looking to marry her off to a decent match for a while, and Pitch wants her out of the castle.”
Wait what?
“But who are you?”Bookmarked by Noinyen

Summary
Hiccup knew what he saw that night, and what he saw was a snow-white Night Fury with someone riding on her back. Being Hiccup, he wasn't about to let the biggest discovery in the history of Berk get away without putting up a fight.
The good news was that the pair appeared just as interested in Hiccup and Toothless. The bad news was that they seemed dead-set on making their presence as difficult and secretive as possible.

Summary
“Because I don’t get to want you,” James said, stepping closer. “Because you’re Sirius’ little brother. Because you’re fucking perfect. Because I’d rather tear myself apart than hurt you. But God Regulus, its taking everything in my soul to stay away from you.”
OR
Regulus' summers between college years usually consist of walking around Montreal, finding new places to hide from the world and trying his very best to ignore his family. However, this summer is different. His parents are spending it in France and therefore offer him an ultimatum: France with them, or Ontario with Sirius. France is out of the question. Which leaves a glass front lake house in Ontario. A house owned by James Potter's family, Sirius' college best friend, and as far as Regulus is concerned, a total prick.
Drawn magnetically together, James and Regulus embark on a three year long secret situationship. Its casual. Its nothing. Well.... until it isn't, and secrets have a way of worming their way to the surface... eventually.

A story in which…the author takes a katana to every teenage dystopian universe and makes a fuckity little jigsaw puzzle with the pieces.

Still, what remains of Seattle stands strong under the governing fist of The Assembly, just ignore the turbulent weather, mutant attacks, and raging inequity within the system. Summary
Sora used to love summer, spending whole days out in the sunshine until he amassed a whole collection of freckles sprinkled along his cheeks and shoulders and nose. Riku would trace his fingers along the back of Sora’s neck, thinking about how those freckles were just like constellations. He never said it aloud but Sora usually smiled like he knew anyways.
Now Sora had a rifle on his shoulder. His eyes were narrowed. He was reaching for a knife, because a knife was quiet, and this was just one infected, and a gunshot would call more. Riku hated that they didn’t even think about that, anymore. That’s what happened to them, four years into the end of the world. They became something else.
