Also in this fic, the emotions don't live in Riley's head, they're just regular, functioning members of society. It doesn't really make sense, but I tried to keep Anxiety's role with the other emotions vague enough so if you want to put your emotion-sona in the place of the reader you can.

After a rather troublesome run-in with Black Bellamy on the beaches of the Galapagos Islands—where he's supposed to be relaxing on vacation—the Pirate with a Scarf learns that Bellamy is "sponsoring" Charles Darwin's research. The Pirate Captain and his crew couldn't care less about what the sneaky scoundrel is doing, and chalk up his odd decision to his humiliating loss during Pirate of the Year... but the Pirate with a Scarf knows there must be more to the sly pirate's plan, possibly involving hidden Incan gold throughout the island.
Yet for some reason, he's having trouble keeping his guard up as more time passes by.
