just an all-around great slowburn romance with excellent hurt/comfort (more comfort than hurt) and good pacing. plus a very interesting AU to explore in terms of how it affects Lena and especially Kara’s individual character arcs, the greater ramifications of Superman’s absence on the treatment of aliens in the U.S./the world at large, and the way this specific AU puts a greater emphasis on Kara’s status as a Kryptonian immigrant and the last member of a dead species

Easily the best PHM fic I’ve read. A standout social media fic with fun worldbuilding that keeps you engaged through the years and decades after the Beetles return to Earth even in the absence of Rocky and Grace. And once they do return, the resulting culture clashes and Grace’s re-integration to Earth are just as great. Really lets you feel the weight of time and change that has passed both on Earth during Grace’s absence, and by Grace himself as he re-familiarizes himself with a changed world.
