This was not Jimmy Novak’s empty shell, to which Castiel had become accustomed (perhaps overly) to thinking of as his own body. Instead, he was currently inhabiting a man named Eddy who had let Castiel commandeer his vessel in exchange for several good meals and several more hundred dollars.
As a guest in Eddy’s body, Castiel should have known to politely decline any and all advances. Perhaps he could have suggested a more agreeable activity, such as darts or pool.
But this was no bar-hopping stranger looking his vessel up and down, raising his eyebrows appreciatively, asking to order Castiel another of Eddy’s favorite drinks.
