Everyone, sometimes even she, is convinced she may be loosing her mind, but with a killer on the loose, she's not sure what else to do other than trust Sherlock. Whether he's a figment of her traumatized psyche, or the real deal.
So, now, they're left with nothing but questions and mysteries to solve.

Somehow, eleven years and three months later, he's faced with ten year old John Watson.

Season 4. Sherlock is in prison for killing Magnussen. He is dealing drugs, and someone is trying to frame him for murdering the cook. Sherlock is frequently beaten.
Chapter 15: John visits Ireland and Moriarty's adoptive parents, the Brooks, whom John flees without his coat.
Chapter 16: Sherlock is in solitary confinement tied down on his bed. The prison shrink gives him a drug. A guard reveals that Sherlock has a restricted file--another violation of prison rules.
Chapter 17. John is in a pub, drinking and trying to figure out his relationship to Sherlock and whether Sherlock has crossed the line by killing Magnussen.
Chapter 18. Sherlock in the prison doctor's office tries to call John to warn him.
Chapter 19. John in Ireland learns that Mary Morstan had married Jim Moriarty and had a child that had died. John is drugged and kidnapped by Moriarty.
Chapter 20. Sherlock hacks the prison guard Chapman's PC to find that she is the source of narcotics and evidently the one trying to frame Sherlock, who alerts Lestrade that John is in danger. -
