The Winchesters send a package to the Miltons, the contents of which put the two nations at war resulting in the Winchester Alpha, Dean, kidnapping the Milton Omega Prince, Castiel. Castiel begins to learn about his captors, and as he does he discovers the horrifying truth behind the box that sheds new light on the volatile Alpha and Castiel's own family. With the truth revealed Castiel and Dean grow closer and begin to bond, but their two nations are still at war, and Castiel, no matter how he feels for Dean, is still a prisoner.

“Listen to her purr!” The voice yelled over the music. On instinct I turned my head to the right, as though looking to the person who spoke.
He wasn't solid and complete, like one might assume. More like a reflection caught in breeze blown water, but enough there that I knew who I was staring at. He bobbed his head to the music, his hand extended out the window, trying to catch the wind. The smile on his face was one of pure bliss. I was overcome with the sense of coming home after years of being forced into exile. It was overwhelming, and I felt the pain and the joy swell inside of me, amplified by the acknowledgment of what I was seeing.
“Don't freak out, Nikki. Take it in and open her up.”

Summary
Harry Potter is called up to Dumbledore's office and told he was being moved elsewhere to keep him safe. He no longer has to stay at the Dursley's, but Dumbledore tells him he has to stay with Severus Snape. For a few days it seemed like a bad idea. Until Severus Snape uncovers the truth of who Harry Potter really is and what he's been through. Watch as Severus does as nobody else has done before him. He takes care of Harry. Watch him flourish into who he was meant to be, a boy with the heart of a Gryffindor and smarts of a Slytherin. The Dursley's, Umbridge and Dumbledore had better watch out Severus is out for revenge. Spy or no spy, Severus is not allowing anyone away with hurting Harry.

This story begins while Harry is still in his seventh year, but nothing sexual occurs while Harry is underage. There will be mentions of Harry with another semi-major character later in the story, but worry not! There will be a happy ending for our boys. Light bashing of pretty much everyone, nothing too bad, though. This is AU in that I kept a few canon themes as they fit my story, but plenty of this is not at all canon. This story pretty well splits from canon midway through PoA, I'd say.
