Megumi scoffs, scribbling out an answer to another practice problem. "What? You want me to run lines with her? No can do, I have my exam tonight."
"That's not exactly what I was asking." Megumi makes the mistake of looking up and finding himself face to face with his kryptonite: Yuuji's pathetically large and unfortunately convincing puppy-dog eyes.

or, after his sister gets the flu, megumi is pulled in last minute to play the prince in the amusement park's most popular play. too bad he has a huge crush on his knight.

"Megumi Fushiguro didn’t believe in superstitions.
In some ways, he never got the chance to believe in any. Superstitions didn’t stand a chance in a world where sorcery existed. He’d seen people make fire out of their bare hands. He’d seen them level buildings with a flick of their hand. He’d seen his own shadows creep out of his palms, warping his world in darkness.
All his life, he’d held the belief that superstitions didn’t exist. But as life always does, all it took was one moment for hard held ideas to falter."
