Summary
There once was a traveler upon the green Earth, young and eager to learn of all that he could reach. Though Near had never asked for it, forces far beyond his control would upset his life and exile him from all he knew. Eorzea, they call it. It's a land of wonders and terrors in equal measure that Near is called to, by a god of crystal light he resents and fears. Yet as he walks upon the aether-kissed land of deep-forested Gridania, something deep within Near blinks in waking recognition.
